Welcome
In 1975, during his study in Paris, Hans Reefman poured nail polish over a piece of paper. He rediscovered this "work" in 1992 and was surprised at the quality of the nail polish; how well it had maintained its colour and sheen. His curiosity was awakened and his hobby became his profession.
Hans Reefman is an autodidactic. He developed a technique based on the use of nail polish in combination with other materials; acrylic, varnish, and cement. He calls this technique Polishpainting.
In the past years his work has found its way into private collections world wide through exhibitions and word of mouth.
